AN OFFICE THAT EARNS TRUST
This is an office relocation project for i-Life Co., Ltd., which offers a wide range of support to the senior generation, from proposing and introducing paid nursing homes. As i-Life provides total coordination for senior life, it was required to create a place where people who come for consultations can feel safe and comfortable discussing their lives.
The target area is a long, single-plate space in a high-rise building, and in order to give visitors a sense of security and increase the sense of belonging of the employees working there, i-Life’s vast knowledge of nursing care and a moderate level of privacy were incorporated into the space.
As there are a huge number of facility introduction brochures, instead of storing them in a typical steel rack, they are displayed as i-Life’s "knowledge" and made into a lounge space.
The brochures piled up on both sides of tower like a forest of "knowledge," intended to give those who come for consultation a sense of security and privacy.
In the office area, a large space is gently divided by a triaxial woven fabric gate.
The aim was to gently separate the workspace between employees, while also adding aesthetics and identity to the inorganic office space in a high-rise building, thereby creating a sense of belonging among employees.
