CASUAL SPACE FULFILING THE AIDMA PRINCIPLES
A school space where you can learn while having fun
The Saitama-Laketown school project of DRONE SCHOOL TOKYO is located in a commercial facility.
Commercial facilities have three major characteristics.
1. Easy access to locations
2. Recreational activity in a commercial space
3. Location that increases footfall and customer exposure.
By combining above characteristics with the AIDMA theory, we established design regulations for the ideal drone school to appeal students to join the school.
By creating directly managed stores and franchise stores based on the design regulations, we are able to unify the branding of the entire group while highlighting the location and facility characteristics of each store. In addition, we set the space grade to accommodate the store opening budget.
To minimize the initial costs of launching a store while maximizing awareness, the Saitama Lake Town School incorporates strategic elements such as prominent signage, dedicated drone courts, and creative use of the existing space's color scheme and architectural details. Additionally, the school features "lab" where visitors can delve into video production and editing, offering hands-on experiences that enhance learning.
Located within a lively commercial hub that fosters community engagement, the school provides an inviting environment where individuals can explore the exciting world of drones, blending education with entertainment.
